Amelie Robertson, DVM

Dr. Robertson
Originally from Montreal, Canada, Dr. Amelie Robertson has called Collierville home for many years. Her love for veterinary medicine began early, bringing together her passion for science and medicine with something even more important to her: helping both animals and the people who love them.
Dr. Robertson attended Mississippi State University for both her undergraduate studies and veterinary school, earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in May 2026. During veterinary school, she received the Internal Medicine Award, an honor that reflects one of the things she enjoys most about practicing medicine: working through complicated cases, asking questions, and putting the pieces together to find answers for her patients and their families.
For Dr. Robertson, veterinary medicine is more than a career. It is a calling. Her faith is an important part of who she is and how she approaches caring for others. She believes she was led to Southern Crossing for a reason and finds purpose not only in caring for her patients, but also in supporting, educating, and caring for the people on the other end of the leash.
As a veterinarian, Dr. Robertson values the opportunity to build lasting relationships with her clients and patients. She has a particular love for challenging medical cases and enjoys digging deeper to understand the “why” behind what a patient is experiencing.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Robertson enjoys spending time with her husband, Sam, whom she married in June 2026. Together, they enjoy hiking and spending time with their two dogs, Tucker and Ellie.
