Small Animal Associate Veterinarian

Are you seeking a practice that prioritizes quality of care for your patients over quantity? Southern Crossing Animal Hospital, an AAHA-accredited, multi-doctor, and privately-owned practice in the heart of Memphis, TN, is seeking a dedicated Associate Veterinarian to join their team. Experience for yourself a team centric practice that supports and encourages a concierge approach with your clients, ensuring they feel heard and valued as you care for their loved ones.

  • Experienced Leadership & Mentorship: Led by Dr. Carondelet Nollner, a Diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners in Canine/Feline Clinical Practice, this team has a wealth of experience in mentoring fourth year veterinary students through externships and coaching experienced associates at any stage of their career. You can expect one-on-one support, case rounds, surgical assistance, and more as we foster your passions for learning and growth.
  • Team – Centric Environment: Our culture emphasizes collaboration and open communication. We believe in a “no man left behind” philosophy, where everyone supports each other and plays to their strengths. Our servant leadership model has resulted in high employee retention, an engaged team, and inclusive work atmosphere where we all love what we do as a team every day. You can know that your opinions, insights, and expertise will be heard and respected at Southern Crossing Animal Hospital.
  • Commitment to Continuous Learning: We value continual professional development and support our team’s pursuit of certifications and continuing education. Our team members are encouraged to stay at the forefront of veterinary medicine to provide the highest quality of care. You can know that your opinions, insights, and expertise will be heard and respected at Southern Crossing Animal Hospital. If you’re seeking an opportunity that can provide you with career longevity and fulfilment, we want to hear from you!
  • State of the Art Facility: Our new 4500 sq foot facility emphasizes efficiencies in daily flow, encourages transparency with pet parents (large windows in exam rooms), includes separate entrances for dogs and cats and species dedicated exam rooms, promotes fear free practice with calming colors and meets all of the facilities standards required by the American Animal Hospital Association. Our comfort room provides the appropriate space for special conversations with pet parents as well as our separate dedicated cat kennel and dog kennel provide a more comfortable experience for each species.
  • Concierge practice approach: At Southern Crossing Animal Hospital, we understand the importance of doctor client communication. Each patient is valued as a family member as well as the client. As a legacy practice (established in the 1960’s) our DNA is to go the extra mile for each patient and those that love them. This is why we value quality time with our patients and their parents over quantity of patients.
  • On Site Practice Administrator: Our Practice Administrator has a Bachelor of Science degree in Healthcare Administration. Her primary role is to care for our team, our clients and the financial health of our practice. Her availability to care for each team member on a daily basis and to focus on our pet parents provides relief for our DVM’s from carrying this responsibility.
